John Trevathan

John Trevathan is Chief Procurement Officer and Vice President of Corporate Services for GuideWell. In this role, Trevathan is responsible for directing the programs and actions of the procurement function, including strategic sourcing and supplier selection, contract negotiation and fulfillment for all purchased goods and services, as well as monitoring the enterprise’s supplier relationship management program. Additionally, he oversees property management, real estate, engineering, safety and security, logistics, hospitality, facility planning and support services.

Throughout his career, he has implemented innovative technology platforms in operations, facilities, sales, marketing and revenue accounting. His background in logistics, organizational and financial management leadership helps to drive and guide GuideWell’s support service needs for the future.

Prior to joining GuideWell, Trevathan served as Corporate Vice President, McCollister’s Logistics Group, a provider of global transportation management, project management, warehouse and installation services to the hospitality, food and beverage, retail and health care markets. He also led McCollister’s commercial services division providing facility and interior space operations solutions to a broad range of corporate clients nationwide and co-led the sales organization as Corporate Vice President, Sales and Marketing.

Additionally, Trevathan has held executive positions at Suddath Companies, Graebel, Inc. and The Federal Companies, all of which specialize in transportation, distribution and logistics services.  Throughout his career, he has been involved in a variety of industry associations and community organizations including Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and NAIOP, and currently serves on the boards of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida.

Trevathan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and studied at the University of London.
