1. TELL US ABOUT YOUR CURRENT ROLE AND THE WORK YOU DO IN YOUR INDUSTRY.

GuideWell helps people through an integrated ecosystem of products and services and facilitating better health care experiences is our specialty. We are always building and refining to drive higher efficiency and exceptional care.  I have responsibility for Corporate Services across GuideWell, which includes a range of enabling functions to our subsidiary companies such as Florida Blue, Triple S, GuideWell Source and Web TPA.  Our team delivers design, construction, PM/FM and operational services as well as security, logistics and hospitality solutions.  We emphasize quality, efficiency and alignment with our mission “to help people and communities achieve better health”.

2. WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO JOIN THE FLORIDA CHAMBER LEADERSHIP CABINET ON SAFETY, HEALTH, AND SUSTAINABILITY?

The Florida Chamber of Commerce is most effective at aligning the Florida business community around safety, health and sustainability which are fundamental to business success.  This aligns with our mission at GuideWell.  Each one of the millions of Floridians whose employers support safer work environments, better health benefits and clean air & water, are contributing to a more healthy, happy and productive population.

3. AS AN ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER, WHAT IMPACT DO YOU HOPE TO MAKE WITHIN THE LEADERSHIP CABINET?

Working alongside our outstanding board and chamber staff, my hope is to continue with the momentum and accelerate the positive outcomes of our business-led safety, health and sustainable pursuits.

4. WHY WOULD YOU ENCOURAGE OTHER FLORIDA BUSINESSES TO GET INVOLVED IN THE FLORIDA CHAMBER’S LEADERSHIP CABINET ON SAFETY, HEALTH AND SUSTAINABILITY OR PARTICIPATE IN COMMITTEE MEETINGS?

The Florida Chamber Leadership Cabinet welcomes all businesses, regardless of size or industry, to participate in the benchmarking, innovation and solutioning around these important topics that differentiate Florida as an active leader in enhancing our environment, workforce and population at large.  Most often, we find that these efforts improve the reputation, efficiency and performance of participating businesses.
